At Nourishe Skincare we do not use any nasties like Isopropanol a penetration enhancer, Parabens that may enter the endocrine system affecting oestrogens and can be carcinogenic, Artificial Fragrances & Petrolatum/Petrol chemicals (mineral oils) that may interfere with the body’s natural moisture balance creating dryness and flaking, can be neurotoxic and can cause headaches, mood swings, depression, dizziness and skin irritation (they are also very common triggers of asthma attacks). We don't use Propylene glycol (PEGS) that acts as a moisture penetration enhancer but has been linked to allergic reactions, hives, and eczema, PVP/VA copolymer that can stop the skin breathing and affect the lungs. Sodium lauryl/Laureth sulfates that are harsh surfactants often linked with petroleum and can lead to allergic reactions and dryness, Synthetic or artificial colours again can be carcinogenic, Toluene that may irritate the skin and respiratory tract and has been linked to liver damage and we don't test on animals.
