Serina at The Natural Family Health Clinic is the creator of Nourishe Skincare.  At the Natural Family Health Clinic we specialise in holistic well-being, promoting health, laughter and love in a nurturing environment using natural methods to help you regain optimal health.

Serina is a qualified Naturopath and Medical Herbalist with a Bachelor of Natural Medicine.  Her passion is digestive, skin health and family health mainly looking after women and children; being a mother herself she understands how small changes in your children's health and your own health can make such dramatic changes to your whole family. 

At the Natural Family Health Clinic we offer natural health consultations looking at every aspect of health, seeking to find the underlying cause of a problem rather than just treating the symptoms.  Our goal is to listen and facilitate the body’s own natural healing power using natural non-toxic therapies and restoring balance in the body.  Work to optimise health and well-being, prevent ill health, boost immunity and can assist with acute and chronic conditions.

Serina’s background has been varied, but has always been drawn to natural health. She has always loved working with natural aromatherapy products, making her own products, reading as much as she could on nutrition, medicinal herbs, and natural home remedies, working in health shops and in her early thirties completing a Degree in Natural Health. She has always been passionate about natural health. 

At the Natural Family Health Clinic an initial consultation usually lasts 60-90 minutes and includes an in-depth case take of current health, medical history, looking at all body systems, using diagnostic techniques and assessing any health concerns you may have.  Together we will discuss your diet, nutritional status, activity, lifestyle, emotions, medical history and how your body is functioning.  Then an individual treatment plan is initiated to start towards optimal health.

On-going plans may include - diet, nutritional supplements, medicinal herbs, bach flowers, homeobotanical therapies, minerals, exercise, stress management or lifestyle changes to improve your health and referrals to applicable health modalities.  We may use hair testing to check for food sensitivities, mineral deficiencies or heavy metals, blood tests, saliva, or urine tests to ensure you gain the best results from consultations and the results of these will be used in your treatment plan.

Follow up appointments  provide continued support to help you make the changes needed to obtain optimal health, to keep you motivated, support you to achieve your goals, assess progress, discuss any changes you may be experiencing and to amend the plan as your health improves.
